BuzzPop Brands is a highly experienced, multi-faceted marketing and digital agency specialising in B2B and B2C brand marketing.

Kate Ware (she/her)
Founder & Principal Strategist

Kate Ware is a senior digital marketing, social media and branding professional who’s been treading the boards of social media since it hit Australian shores in 2007. Founding BuzzPop Brands in 2014, Kate’s vision was to create a scalable agency that acts as a seamless extension of her clients to help them create exciting, cohesive and successful brands.
Kate takes a strategic brand approach to marketing and social media by building strong foundations for her clients’ brands through watertight strategy, best practice implementation and ongoing support. With a keen eye for data analysis, Kate responds creatively to the story the metrics share. For her, this is the beauty of digital marketing.
Kate’s and her team have been behind the keyboard for her fair share of digital crises, including the now infamous 2016 #censusfail. Because of her extensive experience, Kate’s clients love knowing their business is in experienced and trusted hands.
Kate is a past President of the Victorian chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and currently administrates the ‘Australian Social Media Jobs’ and ‘Australian LinkedIn Community Managers’ groups on Facebook.
When she’s not ticking ‘taste all of the gins’ off her bucket list and having complete WhatsApp conversations using only gifs (text her and see if it’s legit), Kate’s probably hanging with her young family, snuggling her lovable and energetic Spoodle, Lucy, running the Barwon River or planning her next travel adventure.

Esther Kelleher (she/her)
Senior Marketing Consultant

Esther Kelleher has 15 years of experience across retail and consumer industries in both Australian and international markets. She has a broad marketing skillset spanning brand strategy, creative campaign development, building omnichannel campaigns, partnerships (C2B and B2B), CRM and social media plans, PR and events.
Esther has established herself as a strategic marketer with vast experience in localisation and global expansion plans and partnerships. With a track record for leading and developing high-performing teams, she thrives on leadership opportunities and works collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to make marketing and business plans succeed.
Esther has worked with some of Australia’s most iconic and innovative retail brands, such as Sportsgirl, Mimco, Gorman and Etsy.com. Her experience at etsy.com led to consulting creative entrepreneurs and start-up businesses in building growth strategies and acquisition marketing plans.
Esther has a passion project, PL Collective, a minimalist jewellery label. She is plant-obsessed, happiest by the beach or outdoors, and often busy wrangling three little people.

Myles Harris (he/him)
Paid Media Specialist

Myles Harris comes from a data and business intelligence background in the automotive industry, where he combined many datasets to plan parts sales campaigns and dealer networks.
Myles has been advertising on Facebook since 2012. In 2013, he started his own business advertising on Facebook, Google, Linkedin and now TikTok.
Throughout his career, Myles has acquired vast amounts of knowledge on how people use Facebook and how Facebook works as part of a successful digital and marketing strategy.
Myles provides paid strategy to the BuzzPop Brands team to ensure successful campaign outcomes for all clients.
With downtime after wrestling two little ones, Myles has a love of hi-fi and consumer electronics. He loves to lose himself in music, just for a bit. Myles is an ice hockey fan and is still waiting for his Vancouver Canucks to win their first Stanley Cup (52 years and counting). His love of the game drew him to be involved in the sport in Australia. Becoming Digital Marketing Manager and Vice President of the Melbourne Mustangs in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL), helping them with their first Goodall Cup in 2014. He also loves motorsport (F1), cars and tinkering mechanically with things, stemming from his automotive days.
Myles’ passion project is serving as Vice President of his children’s Kindergarten. Applying his skills and knowledge to rebrand, market and set up systems for success.

Sarah Maul (she/her)
Digital Marketing Specialist

Sarah Maul is BuzzPop Brands Digital Marketing Specialist. With her keen eye for design and creativity, Sarah is responsible for all things content creation, ideation and management, as well as helping our smaller clients with Paid Media Advertising, SEO, Strategy and Reporting. She’s our well-rounded digital superstar!
Sarah has an agency background in digital marketing and UX website design & development, with a great passion for helping businesses tell their story and connect with their customers online. She loves helping clients use the power of digital to create a positive impact.
Working with a variety of national and international clients from a range of different industries, Sarah’s experience allows her to be a dynamic and UX-focused digital go-getter for both BuzzPop and our clients.
On weekends, you’ll find her with a coffee in hand walking her German Shepard pup, Zeus, down at the local park or beach. She enjoys being creative with different arts & crafts activities and is known to frequent the gym for a session or few throughout the week – leading to her in-office nickname of “quads” (after multiple occasions of struggling to walk down the office stairs post-leg day).

Julie Ashby (she/her)
Social Media Specialist

Julie Ashby is our well rounded social media unicorn. One of those rare kinds that are hard to find in the digital marketing world with a diverse background with equal measures across data and content.
Julie cut her teeth in all things media back in the day before social media existed, in the film and tv industry, moving across a variety of roles from production to art department and camera. After a moment of enlightenment and extensive travels she moved into wellness entrepreneurship where she figured out the rising world of social media and self promotion. She got so good at it and loved it so much, she made it her full time gig. Since then she has worked both agency and brand side across a variety of roles from community management to content creation, strategy, partnership and ads management.
She has worked across a variety of sectors from QSR, Finance to Arts & Entertainment, Music, Well-being, Cosmetics, E-commerce and Coaching.
Previous clients have included; Oporto, Red Rooster, Subway, Michelle Bridges 12WBT, Pfizer, Latitude Finance, Banana Boat, Brunswick Picture House, Entrepreneur Facilitators – Build Grow Run, Rising Appalachia.
Julie is a new mother to a 18month old and when she doesn’t have her hands full with her boy she can be seen at a beach in Byron, on an ecstatic dance floor or yoga studio.
